Download the zip file to your computer remember where you place it. 2. Unzip the file. 3. Follow the instructions below to complete the installation. 如何使用 When connecting the phone via IR follow these steps: Start the Dial-Up Networking (DUN) wizard from Start/Programs/Sony Ericsson. To use the DUN Wizard on XP you have to update the standard modem installed by default and instead install the correct modem. The modem that gets installed if placing the phone at the IR eye is a standard IR modem (this is a known Microsoft problem). To be able to use your phone as a modem please try the solution below: 1. Open 'Phone and Modem Options' in the Control Panel. 2. Check on what COM port the standard IR modem has been placed (this is the COM port that the Phone's IR modem should be connected to). 3. Mark the Standard IR modem. 4. Click 'Properties', Click 'Driver', and 'Update Driver'. 5. Choose 'Install from a specific location', Click Next. 6. Choose 'Don't search I will choose driver to install'. 7. Click 'Have Disk'. 8. Point towards the Phone's IR modem script. Click Next. 9. Click continue anyway when the installation warning is displayed the modem drivers are fully tested, digital signatures for these modems are not available at present. |
